The calculator runs in your browser. It does not upload the salary and pension figures you enter.
Calculator Inputs
Inputs are used in this tab to work out the estimates you request. They are not deliberately sent to a calculation API, saved in a user account, stored in browser storage or placed in the page URL. Reloading resets them. Your browser and any extensions you install operate under their own settings.
A printed or saved PDF includes your figures. You control that copy and should check it before sharing.
Hosting and Technical Requests
The website is hosted using OpenAI Sites and its infrastructure providers. Loading a page necessarily sends ordinary request information, such as your IP address, browser details, requested address and time, to the hosting infrastructure. Hosting and security providers may keep operational logs under their own policies. The operator does not receive your calculator inputs through those requests.
Where the operator processes necessary technical data, the purpose is to deliver and secure the website, relying on legitimate interests in running a reliable free tool. We do not use it to build advertising profiles. Provider processing, locations and safeguards are described in OpenAI’s privacy information. We do not set a separate retention period for provider-controlled logs.
Hosting Security Checks
The host uses Cloudflare protection against automated requests. We observed a security script added to delivered pages. These checks use browser and connection signals and can set a security cookie such as cf_clearance. They are hosting security measures, not an advertising or analytics feature added by this calculator. Their operation is controlled by the hosting providers. Optional Analytics and Your Choice
Cloudflare Web Analytics is off until you select Allow analytics. It measures page views, visits and loading performance so we can understand which public pages are useful and improve the service. This optional processing is based on your consent, not a condition of using the calculator. No advertising is active.
After you agree, your browser contacts Cloudflare to load its measurement script and send page/performance measurements. Cloudflare receives connection information including your IP address in processing these requests. Its documentation describes page addresses, referrer, browser/device information, approximate location and performance measurements. Cloudflare states that this service does not use analytics cookies, localStorage identifiers or fingerprinting to track individual visitors. It is not a session-recording tool. We do not add salary, pension, loan selections, calculation results, names or email addresses to measurements.
Our implementation skips measurement on preview hosts and on pages whose current address, original navigation address or referrer includes query parameters, fragments or unexpected paths. This reduces the risk of accidentally sending private values embedded in a link. Measurements can also be missing because of refusal, browser settings or blockers, so reports do not count every visit or identify unique people.
We store only your allow/deny choice, a policy version and an expiry time in this browser’s localStorage for up to 180 days. This preference is used to honour your choice; it is not a visitor identifier and does not contain calculator inputs. If storage is unavailable or the choice expires, analytics stays off until a valid choice can be saved.
Use Analytics preferences in any page footer to change your mind. Selecting No thanks stops new measurement requests and reloads the page to unload the measurement script. Reloading resets calculator entries. A refusal also takes effect in other open tabs on this origin. Withdrawing consent does not recall a request already sent or automatically delete earlier aggregate reports. Cloudflare documents up to six months of Web Analytics data availability, with aggregation and sampling over time.
Cloudflare is an international provider. See its privacy policy, measurement fields and analytics FAQ for processing, safeguards and retention details. Contact the operator for privacy questions. The consent preference and analytics are separate from host-controlled security checks described above.
Advertising
Advertising is the intended funding model, but no advertising is active. AdSense registration and ownership verification do not themselves enable ads. Any future advertising needs its own privacy and consent implementation before activation.
If You Contact Us
Emails to our public contact address pass through Namecheap’s email-forwarding service to a Gmail inbox managed by the operator. Your email provider, Namecheap and Google process the message for delivery and storage. See Namecheap’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy for their handling of personal data.
We use your email address, message and information you choose to include to answer the request or investigate a reported error, based on legitimate interests in responding and maintaining the service. Calculator inputs are not automatically included in an email. Do not send payslips or sensitive financial documents. Messages are kept only while the issue is being handled and for a reasonable follow-up period; unresolved complaints or legal obligations may require longer retention.
You can also write to the registered office below. Postal and registered-office service providers may handle delivery; we use and retain correspondence for the same purposes.
Your Choices and Rights
You do not need an account or to submit personal financial documents to use the tool. Depending on the data and circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact hello@payfigured.co.uk. We may need to verify a request without collecting unnecessary information.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. This tool estimates figures for you; it does not decide employment, credit or benefits eligibility.
